Dr. Sarkawt Hamad (PhD)

Sarkawt Hamad is a young investigator in the field of cell and tissue engineering. He obtained his PhD for studies on cardiovascular differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells. Currently, he is focussing on human cardiac organoids and cardiac tissue engineering. Key interests of Dr. Hamad are research on large animal models of cardiac cell therapy in collaboration with colleagues in Barcelona and Amsterdam.
